SMS Network Configuration

2 SMPP servers: public IP 8.23.196.35 and 8.23.196.36

Configuration Server: store all configurations and do regular backup to the Logging & Backup Server. It contains three 1G connections to Private Switch and two 10G connections to C4500X VLAN Layer 3 switches (1 active, 1 standby).

DBMS, Routing (1 active, 1 standby): connected to Private Switch and C4500X switch.

C4500X switch connected to public switch (3 ISPs), we have a filter to allow list of access IPs.

ASA is a firewall switch to do the 2nd protection to filter out the access list.

When a message is sent to our system, it goes from public switch à 1st filter its authorization à C4500X switch à ASA 2nd fitler à Private Switch à SMS system (configuration, routing, dbms)
